I’m a big fan on consignment stores. I like ones that carry a good amount of high-end merchandise – the type of stuff I’m not going to buy for myself brand new! You’ll probably see me post about a few women’s consignment stores in the Plano area, as I’m now on a hunt to replace my favorite Memphis store, Celery. This week I stopped by Closet Revival in Plano and liked what I saw.
The store carries women’s clothing, shoes, purses and some jewelry and sunglasses. They have clothes there for all seasons, so expect to see a variety of items, regardless of the time of year. The store is clean, well organized and carried a variety of brands including some high-end names like St. John, Escada and Tory Burch plus designer denim, Juicy Couture and two whole racks of clothes from Chico’s. The shoe selection is small but they are barely worn. The purse collection was pretty extensive, including a wall of nothing but Louis Vuitton bags.
I didn’t buy anything on this trip, but I’ll be back. The secret to consignment shopping is to pop in on a regular basis and see what’s new. You never know what item is going to show up!
