Minnies Food Pantry

provide healthy meals and the red carpet treatment to every person we serve in the community.
Help needed: food sorting, inspecting, grocery packing, and working on special projects or events.
Age requirements: Kids 13-17 can help, accompanied by an adult 21 or older

Hope’s Door
860 F Ave, Plano
provide safety, shelter, healing, and hope to families affected by domestic violence
Age requirements:  Kids 12-15 can volunteer with a parent or guardian, 16 years olds can volunteer unaccompanied. All individual volunteers must complete our volunteer application, background check, and statement of confidentiality, and attend a 1-hour orientation.

Organize your own clean up (register online and get supplies, any age), or sign up for a scheduled Community Cleanup (13+)

Help out one of the area groups collecting and distributing foods to hungry area kids over school breaks.

A food pantry and clothing closet for Collin County.  Volunteer opportunities for kids 13+

Check their website for upcoming events.  Kids of any ages can volunteer with their parents.

Frisco Family Services Little Hands
For kids 10 and under – three annual events: a spring planting in April at the FFS Community Garden, summer lemonade stands and a stocking stuffing event in December.

Dallas Zoo & Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park
Kids 11-18 can volunteer.
