The streets in Watters Creek come alive with artist booths lined along the sidewalk and filled with original artwork in different media. This year 95 artists are participating from around the country. The festival gives patrons an opportunity to interact with the artists as they buy the unique pieces of art. Live music and dance, children’s art activities, and much more is offered throughout the weekend.

Zip Line Day

Frisco Heritage Center
Kids make a butterfly craft and plant flower seeds to take home. Face painting, live animal show and tell, and lessons in the one-room schoolhouse. Docent led tours of historic buildings along with blacksmiths demonstrating their craft at a real forge. Pony and cart rides, weather permitting.
McKinney Performing Arts Center
Plano Symphony Orchestra. For kids age 3-12 and their families. $8/ticket. Pre-concert activities at 2:15 pm, concert at 3pm: Crafts, Coloring Station, Be a Conductor, The popular Instrument Petting Zoo, a hands-on experience where kids can see, hear and play different instruments. Featuring Le Theatre de Marionette puppeteers from Geppetto’s Marionette Theater performing to music from Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Frozen and Beauty and the Beast.
