Good Friday Children’s Concert & Activities
The Dallas Arboretum celebrates Good Friday with a concert by family favorite Eddie Coker. Children’s activities include face painting, crafts and a petting zoo. In addition, the Mission Winds Clarinet Quartet of the United States Air Force Band of the West performs from noon-1pm.

In a magical kingdom fathoms below, we meet Ariel, the little mermaid who is tired of flipping her fins and longs to be part of the fascinating world on dry land. Joining her are Sebastian, Ariel’s crabby sidekick; Ursula, the evil sea witch; Triton, King of the Sea and the handsome and human Prince Eric. Based on the Disney animated film and hit Broadway musical, The Little Mermaid is making its Dallas RETURN to the Music Hall at Fair Park. So dive on in! Life is the bubbles, under the sea!
Family Building Festival
Frisco Discovery Center
Bricks 4 Kidz is sponsoring a Brick Sculpture Contest and Family Building Festival at the Frisco Discovery Center on March 26th from 10am-3pm. Entry into the contest is optional and there is a $10 fee (includes admission). There will be prizes (including FREE Bricks 4 Kidz Camp, $50 LEGO® gift card) for each age group. Festival activities include giant bricks, robotics, motorized builds, facepainting, door prizes and a community-created mosaic. Tickets are $5/person or $20/family.

Victorian Eggstravaganza and Spring Festival
Heritage Farmstead Museum, Plano
The Heritage Farmstead Museum will be hosting an egg hunt for children 8 and younger. After the hunt stay for the day as we celebrate the joys of spring on the Blackland Prairie with the traditional shearing of our sheep. Hands on demonstrations include carding, skirting, washing, dyeing, and weaving the wool. Other activities include tours of the Farrell Wilson house wagon rides, and special exhibits. Free lemonade and sweet tea will be provided by Raising Canes. Discounts for purchasing tickets in advance online.
