Celebrate Holi @ the Library

Davis Library
Learn about the Holi festival and South Asian culture through a variety of activities for all ages! Presented in partnership with the Shraman Foundation. All ages. Schedule of events: 2-4pm – Crafts and other activities; 2:30, 3 & 3:30pm – Indian Dance Performances; 2:15, 2:45 & 3:15pm – Holi Stories and Tales (listen to the legends and stories behind Holi from a dynamic storyteller); 2:30 & 3:30pm – PeeWee Color Run (race around our 1/8 mile track and throw some colored powder at your neighbor! Wear a shirt you don’t mind getting dirty).

3rd Sunday Open House
Frisco Heritage Museum
Sunday 1-4pm
Wakeland High School 4-H students show off their prize winning rabbits. There will be other live animals, a kids’ craft and coloring sheets. Kids of all ages can have a bunny nose and whiskers painted on. Pony cart rides around the Heritage Center will be available weather permitting. And, you won’t want to miss the blacksmith demonstrations and tours of historic structures.

Family Symphony
Frisco Discovery Center

Plano Symphony Orchestra concert for kids age 3-12 and their families. $8/ticket. Pre-concert activities at 2:15 pm, concert at 3pm: Crafts, Coloring Station, Be a Conductor, The popular Instrument Petting Zoo, a hands-on experience where kids can see, hear and play different instruments.
