Learn about how fossils are formed, unearth and prepare a “fossil” for transport, and see some fascinating rocks and fossils from all around the world. You will spend the morning with Dr. James Carter: UT Dallas Geoscientist- manufacturer of “Maria” moon dirt, and discoverer of an Alamosaurus right here in Texas. We think it will rock your world! For children in grades 2 through 5. $30/student, registration required.
Movies in the Park: Inside Out
Five Star Complex, The Colony
Bring the whole family to enjoy popcorn and a kid-friendly movie as well as fun games and give-aways. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show on a large outdoor inflatable screen brought to you by the Parks and Recreation Department. Blankets, chairs and refreshments are welcome. Concessions will also be available for purchase.
