Monarch Migration Activities
Dallas Botanic Garden
Saturday 10am-2pm
Visit the awesome Pumpkin Village at the Botanic Garden and stay for the Monarch Migration Activities. They will take place on the Moody Oasis, a rooftop garden in the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden that is filled with plants that attract butterflies. A face painter is available to paint butterfly faces on children. Special thanks to the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge and the Texas Discovery Gardens for helping with this fun and educational day.

Calloway’s Fall Festival
All locations
Saturday 9am-4pm
Fall decorations including scarecrows, bales of hay, special displays and loads of free activities for children. Pumpkin decorating, “Mad Science” performances, egg carton gardens, free popcorn, free gardening event.

Wolf Prowl Parade
From 9:30am to 1:30pm the Plano West Band will take to the streets through West Cluster neighborhoods (White Rock Creek Estates, Castlemere, Windhaven Farms, Huntingdon Green), stopping by individual homes to play song requests for a set donation. Around 1pm they will perform a mini concert in the south parking lot of Brinker Elementary. The “Prowl” is the largest fundraiser for the Plano West Band with proceeds being used to support the band and its activities throughout the 2015-16 school year.

Raptor Center First Saturday
Blackland Prairie Raptor Center, Lucas
Saturday 9am-2pm
Meet our raptors up-close at 10am and noon for a great birds of prey program. Bring your picnic lunch. Hike our prairie trails with expert Master Naturalists. Learn about the prairie that used to be here and its importance. Enjoy our new Bird Blind, see what birds come to our water dripper. $5 per person/$/5-16 under 3 free.

Nasher First Saturday
Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas
Saturday 10am-5pm
