The Ghosts of Sleepy Hollow

Recommended for ages 11 and up. You may have heard of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman, but Sleepy Hollow has so many more frightening secrets to show you and your teens. Travel deep into the haunting woods of Sleepy Hollow and nestle up to see why the terrifying tales of Washington Irving have been favorites for fireside spookfests for over a hundred years. The DCT Teen Scene Players bring this world premiere play about Irving’s ghosts to life (err…death) as the Studio Theater is transformed into a wild, fun romp through a hair-raising nightmare that might just scare your head off!

Enjoy local artisan, craftsmen, food & culinary vendors, seasonal items, a great Kid Zone with bounce house fun, Bungee Run, Basketball Game Challenge, carnival games, plus live entertainment throughout the day, HOWL O Ween Doggie Costume Parade at 3 pm, pumpkin decorating, kids crafts, Art of The Hatter & MORE!

Plano International Festival

Cultural displays, naturalization ceremony, parade of flags, international art exhibit, multicultural music and dance performances, fitness and wellness fair, children’s educational activities, international fashion show, ethnic food court and more.

Haunt Jaunt
Oak Point Park, Plano
Saturday 6-10pm
A night-time Halloween-themed race hosted by the City of Plano. 5K plus a 1 mile fun run. The 1-Mile Fun Run will keep you off the street and in the park for a family-friendly experience. For each child registered for the 1-Mile Fun Run, one free adult entry in the 1-Mile Fun Run will be granted as well. 5K Individual – $25 5K Team (5+ people) – $20/person 1 Mile Fun Run – $10 per child. Each child receives one free companion adult’s entry Chip timing for 5K – $5 (optional)

NorthPark Center, Dallas
Sunday 1-4pm
Featuring a concert by Gravity Feed and a performance by Dallas Ballet Company. Children can participate in hands-on art activities led by important artists from North Texas. The event is open to the public, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
