Moon Day
Frontiers of Flight Museum, Dallas
Saturday 10am-5pm
Moon Day is an annual Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM)-focused, space-themed public event sponsored by the Frontiers of Flight Museum and the National Space Society of North Texas. The event brings together space exploration-oriented groups, organizations and institutions in North Texas to share their activities and inspire new generations to embrace a scientific and technological future. Free with admission ($10 adults, $7 ages 3-17.  Additional materials fee for Rocket Build ($25) and Space Art ($20).

Frisco Rough Riders
Dr Pepper Ballpark, Frisco
Friday 7pm: fireworks after the game
Saturday  7pm: Back to the Future Night – Marty McFly, Doc Brown & the famous DeLorean will all make special appearances
Sunday 6pm: Pre-game Catch on the Field for kids and their parents/guardians (up to 35 minutes prior to first pitch), $1 ice cream sandwiches AND fireworks after the game.

Texas Heritage Festival
Saturday 10am-3pm
Heard Museum, McKinney
The Heard invites y’all to put on your cowboy hat and mosey on over to the Texas Heritage Festival! the Texas Heritage Festival will feature toe-tappin’, knee-slappin’ Western music, local artisans, historical demonstrations, and interactive children’s activities (like “cow patty” tossing!) You can also rustle up some tasty Texas grub, say “Howdy” to our resident wildlife ambassadors, and explore the Native Texas Butterfly Garden. Adults: $9, children 3-12: $6, members and McKinney residents free.

Summer Super Splash
Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium, Allen
Saturday 6:30-8:30pm
Come out for Summer Super Splash and enjoy swimming, food, rock climbing, class demos and an all-around night of fun for the entire family! $5 members, $7 non-members

Open House
Frisco Heritage Museum
Sunday 1-4pm
Live animal show and tell, crafts, wet sponge toss, blacksmiths, square dance demonstrations (2-4pm)  and a visit from the Frisco Fire Department.  Free
