We may hear some bumps in the night, but have no fear…it’s probably just an armadillo. Follow our trail guides on a moonlit stroll down the Redbud Trail. You won’t believe how much fun you can have with a box of rocks! Your young scientists can wash them, count, sort and even stack them. Then you can roll them down logs, chutes and ramps to experience force and motion. Join us for fun activities and fresh air appropriate for children ages 3-8. Register in advance online.
Dallas Opera Family Concert
Winspear Opera House, Dallas
This year’s Family Concerts will present “Mozart & Company,” an original program designed to introduce the young and the young at heart to one of the world’s most well-known composers and his music. The event features wonderful soloists and the superb Dallas Opera Orchestra under the baton of Keith Chambers. Be sure to come early to enjoy family activities in the lobby! 12:30pm — The lobby will open for fun activities including crafts and costumes 2pm — Family Concert (about 1 hour). Tickets are $5.
