Spring Safety Weekend

Friday & Saturday from 5-8pm
Joins us the second Friday and Saturday evenings of the month April through July from 5-8pm each night. Each weekend offers a new  focus on safety education. There will time or exploration, demonstrations, activities and as always jeep and bike rides will be offered for those 40 inches and taller on a first come first served basis.

Day Out with Thomas
Grapevine Vintage Railroad, Grapevine
Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Activities include a 25-minute train ride behind a life-sized Thomas the Tank Engine as well as photo opportunities with Thomas and the Controller of the Railway, Sir Topham Hatt. All-day entertainment includes magic shows, live interactive family stage music, petting zoo, arts & crafts, the Sandbox Fun Dig, and more! When purchasing tickets, choose from 12 different train ride times per event day. Each ticket includes your train ride and all-day entertainment and activities.

Shoulders of Giants: The Physics of Angry Birds
Saturday 2-5pm
Haggard Library, Plano
What would Isaac Newton have to say about Angry Birds? Can science make you better at video games? Find out as we learn about force, motion, and energy with real-life Angry Birds! Registration required. Registration opens two weeks prior to session. Free, all ages.

Fancy Nancy The Musical
Eisemann Center, Richardson

The story follows Nancy and her friends Bree, Rhonda, Wanda, and Lionel, who are going to be performing in their very first show, “Deep Sea Dances.” Nancy is positive, that’s fancy for 100 percent sure, that she and Bree will be picked to be mermaids. When another girl wins the coveted role of the mermaid, Nancy is stuck playing a dreary, dull tree. Can Nancy bring fancy flair to her role, even though it isn’t the one she wanted?
