Do your kids love Legos?  This Dallas-themed Lego exhibit is on display at the Dallas Galleria through January 3rd with proceeds benefiting Educational First Steps (a non-profit that works to improve the quality and availability of early childhood education for economically disadvantaged children).  I wanted to get to Nordstrom, so this was the perfect excuse to make the trip!  Throw in some time watching ice skaters and a cookie (plus some coffee) and it was a great “get out of the house” trip over December break.

It’s a $5 donation (ages 2+) per person to enter (scroll down for a discount).  They have a scavenger hunt for the kids, which helps keep them engaged in the displays.  Once they turn it in they get either a matchbox car or a small container of Legos. There is also a build area where you can hang out as long as you’d like (can stand).

We went in 2014 and had a great time. Here are some of the things we saw.
